Slovenia is, pound for pound, possibly the best country on the planet! Sometimes known as the Switzerland of Eastern Europe it is situated between Italy, Austria, Coatia and Hungary. As such the country has an incredible history, an amazing range of food and wine, great bars and clubs, and a fantastic, friendly, English speaking population. Recently found to be the most honest country in the world (via a rather unscientific worldwide survey involving leaving mobile phones in public places!) we found that the people made the place; friendly locals that will bend over backwards to make sure you have a positive experience of their country!
