The centre of Maribor is your typical pedestrian Eastern European centre, with shops lining streets, and much of the nightlife hidden away down back streets. You get the impression, less people speak English here, and you are really getting a little deeper into Eastern Europe. Maribor bars and clubs are a must, but get a local guide.
