Chamonix is a buzzing mountain town situated in the valley at the base of the awesome Mont Blanc range. The birthplace of 'alpinism' Chamonix has been a freesports mecca since day one, and adrenalin activities in winter and in summer abound in the valley. Freeride skiing and snowboarding is at its best here, but all levels of skiing/riding are catered for in more than 160km of pistes.

During the summer Chamonix boasts top climbing, paragliding, and mountain bike plus a huge variety of other adrenalin sports. By night Chamonix town, with more than 40 bars and clubs, goes crazy with bands, live acts and lots of shooters.
