October 2003
Hi!

If you haven't already, then now is the time thoughts should be turning to winter plans. It started snowing on Sunday 5th October, and everything in Chamonix was covered in the white stuff to 1100m, and Manu, our High Mountain Guide, is predicting a top season for snow. This winter we've got the biggest range of holidays we've ever offered. We think we have something for everyone no matter how much time or cash you may or may not have to devote to your riding this year.....

Woo Hoo.... Its celebrity snowboarding with boardnlodge.com!!!!

All about the holidays...
weekends holidays
What do you do at the weekend? Take advantage of how quick, cheap and easy it is to get to the slopes of Chamonix from the UK. For the first time, we are offering weekend breaks (for all weekends in January and March) in our self-catered apartment’s slope-side at Les Grands Montets, Argentiere. These holidays offer you maximum time on the hill, for minimum time off work.

catered chalets
Our famous catered chalet holidays are still going strong. The best hospitality going and the unrivalled local knowledge of our super friendly staff will make sure you get the most out of your stay in the valley. The Mt Blanc Forest Lodge is going to be the place to be this season. We’ve got some great staff to look after you as well as Sky TV, table football, an open-fire, entertainment consoles and a jump and rail in the field outside. Get in! Best be quick though as places are limited and repeat customers and referrals mean the chalets always sell out.

The apartments are modern French style and fully equipped with everything you might need on your snowboard (or ski) trip. The apartments are super close to the mountain and are also just a short walk to the shops, pubs, and restaurants of Argentiere.

Well if you've ever thought of doing a season or even just a month or two on snow then here is your chance. We've got a limited number of apartments available for long stays and the opportunity to really improve your riding and live the mountain life, get amongst it!

www.chamjedi.com
Chamjedi.com have created the first and only alternative guide to Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France; probably the most popular snowboard destination for seasonaires and holidaymakers alike. One big reason why chamjedi.com is so on-it and up-2-date is that the bars, restaurants, clubs and shops of Chamonix and Argentiere are able to update their own pages. Even the public can upload their favourite pictures, and buy and sell kit in the for sale section. Additional special features include snow reports, local Chamonix contacts, a thorough guide to riding areas, and the piece de resistance “The Oracle”. The Oracle is a groundbreaking section of the site which actually talks back. Enter any question about the Chamonix Valley and your answer is e-mailed back to you within 48 hours.

Life is a real bore isn't it? Get up, go to work, come home, watch telly, go to bed, do it all over again. Thank christ for the release of snowboarding. You can't snowboard all year round though, so what are you going to do? Turn to drink, that's what. We found nirvana this way, and kind souls that we are, decided to share the fruits of our wisdom with the wider world. The result is the Young Wino, a lifestyle magazine for the urban urbane that will transform the way you live. The path to alcoholic enlightenment starts here.
